problem

Nonprofits face three compounding barriers to sustainable fundraising.

Nonprofits—increasingly pivotal in addressing societal challenges—often face inherent operational hurdles that limit their ability to grow and plan effectively.

  • Unpredictable Fundraising: Most nonprofits rely on sporadic one-off donations or rare large annual contributions, making consistent financial planning extremely difficult.
  • Technical Limitations: The majority of nonprofits lack the resources or in-house expertise to implement advanced fundraising solutions, resulting in missed opportunities to engage donors at scale.
  • Small-Dollar Donation Dilemma: Nonprofits struggle to tap into lower-dollar donors—a consistent and cumulatively significant source of funding that remains largely out of reach without the right infrastructure.
solution

A low-code fundraising platform built in days, not months.

Quiltt leveraged its own technology stack to build Round 4 Good—a seamless fundraising platform that empowers donors to effortlessly round up spare change and direct it to their chosen nonprofit.

The platform was built by combining two core Quiltt products with Webflow's CMS, requiring no dedicated backend:

  • Quiltt Platform: The backend application managing customer financial data and powering the creation and customization of Quiltt Connectors.
  • Quiltt Connector: An out-of-the-box integration with MX and Plaid for collecting financial data and enabling money movement—embeddable into any application with a single line of code.
  • Webflow: Used to create unique, non-technical landing pages for each nonprofit, featuring logos, mission statements, and social links. Non-technical staff could easily update and maintain content without engineering involvement—especially valuable for nonprofits unable to host the widget on their own site.

This architecture allowed the team to move fast while keeping the codebase lean and the product fully functional from day one.

outcome

A production-ready fintech product launched in 8 days—without VC backing or long engineering cycles.

Round 4 Good demonstrated that high-quality fintech products can be built rapidly when the right platform infrastructure is in place. Key results from the build included:

  • Rapid Development: The full product went from concept to production in just 8 days, enabled entirely by Quiltt's existing technology.
  • Engineering Efficiency: Out-of-the-box integrations via the Quiltt Connector eliminated significant engineering overhead that would otherwise be required to connect financial data providers.
  • Flexibility and Agility: Webflow allowed custom nonprofit landing pages to be stood up quickly, ensuring minimal disruption to fundraising efforts and no dependency on nonprofit technical teams.
  • Accessible Fundraising: The platform opened a new channel for small-dollar, recurring donations—addressing one of the most persistent gaps in nonprofit fundraising.

Round 4 Good stands as a proof of concept for what modern low-code platforms can enable: a fully functional fintech product built without heavy investment or prolonged development timelines.
